Gene targeting strategy for B-hCXCL10 mice. The exons 1~4 of mouse Cxcl10 gene that encode the full-length protein were replaced by human CXCL10 exons 1~4 in B-hCXCL10 mice.
Strain specific CXCL10 expression analysis in homozygous B-hCXCL10 mice by ELISA. Serum was isolated from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (+/+) and homozygous B-hCXCL10 mice (H/H) and stimulated with 20 μg/200 μL LPS in vivo, and analyzed by ELISA with species-specific CXCL10 ELISA kit. Mouse CXCL10 was detectable in wild-type C57BL/6 mice (A). Human CXCL10 was exclusively detectable in homozygous B-hCXCL10 mice but not in wild-type mice (B).
